Air Drills

Uncompromising Quality, Service & Knowledge

Air Drills

When used for the right purpose, air drills are some of the most powerful tools in a builder’s arsenal. Also referred to as pneumatic drills, our air-powered drills come in a range of shapes, sizes and functions so you can complete any drilling work you could possibly think of.

Smaller and more versatile

Air drills are so much more flexible and versatile than their electric counterparts, in part due to their greater level of simplicity. A compressed air drill delivers air through the air tube circuit system, whereas an electric drill is reliant on transferring power from a battery via wiring and into the drill bit.

This means that electric drills are far less efficient in terms of space and are harder to use in compact areas. An air impact drill or air hammer drill is typically much smaller due to the fewer parts used.

Easy to get going

Electric drills often suffer from one very common problem which is almost inescapable. Eventually, the battery that you are using to power your drill will run out of charge. This comes with a similar risk of using a cable in your excavation, which acts as a tripping hazard and may even lead to the drill cutting its own power source.

On the other hand, air drills are far simpler to get going again once they run out of power. By swapping out your depleted air canister with one that is already full, your drill can be back to full working order in a matter of seconds. There is no need to spend time waiting for batteries to recharge, you can simply swap out air tanks and get back to work.
