Air Tools

Uncompromising Quality, Service & Knowledge

Air Tools WA are your locally owned and operated, Australian Air Tool specialists.

Air tools are a great alternative to traditional power tools whether you run a workshop or are just looking to streamline your home tool collection. With just one air compressor you can power a whole range of tools with a reliable and safe source of power.

Air tools are powered by compressed air and provide an exceptional amount of power for a range of jobs. They use compressed air as their power source instead of electricity or batteries. Air tools can be used from pumping up your car’s tyres and powering a nail gun to spray painting or sanding, all you need is a compressor, air hoses and fittings as well as a good air tool kit.

We represent some of Australia’s leading Air Tool brands; including Chicago Pneumatic, Alemlube and Airco. We have been supplying small to large businesses throughout Australia with our industrial quality Air Tools for over 15 years and have built a reputation of providing an honest, reliable and specialist service.

Air Tools WA offer a comprehensive range of high-quality industrial air tools including:

Our brands include Akko, Alemlube, Basso, Blackcat, Chicago Pneumatic, Geiger, Kunai, Prowin, Shinano and others.

Here’s how air tools work:

  • Compressor: The first component is an air compressor, which generates compressed air by compressing atmospheric air. The compressor stores the compressed air in a tank or delivers it directly to the tool through a hose.
  • Air Hose: The compressed air is then transferred from the compressor to the air tool through an air hose. The hose connects the tool to the air supply.
  • Air Tool: The air tool itself has a pneumatic motor or mechanism that converts the compressed air into mechanical motion. This motion is used to perform various tasks such as drilling, grinding, cutting, fastening, or painting.
  • Control Mechanism: Most air tools have a control mechanism, such as a trigger or switch, that allows the user to control the tool’s operation. When the control is activated, the compressed air flows into the tool’s motor, causing it to move and perform the intended task.
  • Exhaust: As the tool operates, it generates exhaust air, which is released into the surrounding environment. Some air tools may have built-in exhaust systems to direct the exhaust away from the user and prevent debris from entering the tool.

Air tools offer several advantages over electric or battery-powered tools. They are often lighter, more powerful, and have a higher torque-to-weight ratio. Additionally, they can operate continuously without the need for recharging or battery replacement.
