Sundström Safety manufactures respiratory protective devices and filters with accessories such as compressed air-fed respirators, powered respirators and protective hoods.

The SR584 Welding Shield is specifically designed for use with the Sundström SR580 Helmet with Visor, providing comprehensive protection for welding and related activities. When combined with the battery-powered SR500 or SR700 fan units and approved filters, this system forms a complete fan-assisted respiratory protection device. The breathing hose of the helmet connects to the fan unit, equipped with filters, creating an overpressure in the helmet’s visor to prevent particles and pollutants from entering the breathing zone. Additionally, this combination can be used with the SR507 compressed air attachment for continuous air supply.
